For safety and insurance purposes, we need to make sure that each Captain and all boat passengers are properly registered & checked in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Wristbands, (which all participants are required to wear) and t-shirts will not be given to any participant that does not check-in and sign the waiver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please make sure all your crew members come to the registration table to complete their registration!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

INSURANCE REQUIREMENT **<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PROOF OF INSURANCE IS REQUIRED in order for you to participate in the run! <\/strong>Minimum liability must be met and boat owner must be listed on policy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

DOCK SLIPS<\/strong>
Dock assignments will be given upon your arrival at the event. If you are making reservations at the Harbor Marina prior to the event, the Dockmaster will try to assign you in your slip that you will be in for the weekend. Marina and Event Staff will be making sure everyone is in their proper slip and we will enforce that you are docked where you are supposed to be. The TICPR Committee and\/or Harbormaster reserves the right to make changes to slip assignments based on the needs and logistics of the event.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Launching<\/strong><\/strong>:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Clayton Municipal Dock (Mary Street Dock)<\/a><\/strong>

Volunteers will be on the street to help you stage and launch as well as give you direction. Look for the red event staff shirts! They will be working Thursday, 12pm to 6pm and Friday, 9am to 5:30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is no ramp fee for Poker Run Participants. There will be bright yellow directional signs leading here. The ramp is at the end of Mary Street. If there’s a backup, boats will stage in front of the Wooden Boat Brewery or proceed to the end of the street and turn left before the ramp onto Theresa Street. Go about 200′ and turn right into French Bay Marina. This is also a staging area. Pull back out towards the Boat Museum and back down the ramp.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n

Truck \/ Trailer Parking<\/strong><\/strong>:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

*** Please no trailers at the Hotel. Drop your trailer and bring your truck to the Hotel ***<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you plan to arrive early in the week and are waiting until Thursday or Friday to launch, we can park you on secure grounds somewhere overnight. Please contact Bobby Cantwell for specific instructions @ 315-882-3145.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cerow Recreation Park<\/a> <\/strong>
615 East Line Road – Clayton, NY<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This area will be patrolled by local police. Boat trailers can be parked for free in the roped off area on the lawn in front of tennis courts from Wednesday – Sunday. There will also be free boat trailer parking across the street at the Clayton Town Barn, Thursday through Sunday Evening Only.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • ZERO ALCOHOL TOLERANCE. Zero alcohol will be allowed before or during the event. Any alcohol consumption instantly disqualifies the boat, and they forfeit their entry fee, their chance to win prizes and their evening event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All participants are to be in U.S.C.G.-approved flotation devices. Drivers are to be tethered at all times while under power.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All boats will carry all items required to be compliant with all NY State Laws, US, and Canadian Coast Guard regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All Boats entered will have a large, color-coded entry number on both sides where easily visible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All boats will require the Driver or Navigator to have the Safety App downloaded on their phone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All boats are required to carry an orange distress flag (provided by the run<\/u><\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All Boats will be designated to one of three (3) groups of 30-35 boats, indicated by a specific color for each group.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All boats are to have a VHF radio and be tuned to the same frequency. Channel 8 has been determined for all participants and an additional alternate channel is assigned for all officials, law enforcement, medical and marshal boats.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All Drivers and Navigators will be required to attend the Saturday morning drivers meeting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Slow and No Wake Zones will be clearly marked on the course map, will be clearly pointed out in the mandatory drivers meeting and will require participants to follow the pace boat in those designated areas.  Passing the Pace Boat in a designated slow zone is grounds for immediate disqualification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Pace\/Safety boats will each have a large flag on board which will be raised to signal all boats to stop. Otherwise, the Pace boat is only to be followed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Anytime there is a Pace boat\/Safety boat leading in a designated slow zone, anyone who passes it will be instantly disqualified. Same as above, they forfeit their entry fee, evening event, and the ability to win any prizes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • The Pace Boat will lead at the start of the event and at all restarts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • When boats are on plane, they shall be run no closer to each other than 100\u2019<\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n
