Our Purpose and Our Partners
The 1000 Islands Charity Run is extremely proud to bring people from around the US and Canada to Clayton and the Thousand Islands, NY, “The Fresh Water Boating Capital of the World.”
This event is now being brought to you by the Thousand Islands Powerboat Club!!!!
The 1000 Islands Charity Poker Run is a grassroots, volunteer-driven event dedicated to the charitable needs and economic development of the Thousand Islands Region. Our goal is to provide events such as The 1000 Islands Charity Poker Run, as well as other programs and projects that promote and keep the historic integrity of our waterfront district, support programs that keep our community healthy and vibrant, and give visitors and citizens alike unforgettable experiences with the beautiful backdrop of the Thousand Islands.
The day of the Main Event is July 15th, 2017 with other family-oriented events from July 12th – 16th.
With the support of dedicated volunteers, the 1000 Islands Charity Poker Run’s mission is threefold:

** Our goal is to raise $50,000 the first year.**
The 1000 Islands Charity Poker Run has already secured the sponsorship of a national sports water company, AquaHydrate, for this event.
Aqua Hydrate will cross market with 1000 Islands Charity Poker Run and promote their sponsorship of this event through social media. Between Facebook and Twitter they have millions of followers. That is a lot of exposure!!
This event is designed as a family oriented poker run with more events on and off the water and more ‘slow zones’ for safety so visitors can see the beauty of the islands and spectators can get a better view of the boats.
100% of all donations and proceeds will be staying in the community.
“Let’s make great things happen. We can make a difference together as a community”
“We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”
