On behalf of the entire TICPR Organizing Committee, THANK YOU! Thank you to the 2023 Sponsors and Donors. Thank you to the Participants – so many of which drove for hours, if not days to get here. Thank you to the countless volunteers and hotel staff. Thank you to the Spectators. Without all of you, this event would not be the success that it is. It truly is a labor of love. Love for the kids we will help with the funds raised. Love for the service men and women that will receive the help they need through the River Hospital Wellness Program, which we support. Love for the First Responders that dedicate their lives to keeping us all safe. It’s the love that helps keep us going when we’re tired from standing all day, doing all the things we do to make this event an enjoyable experience for everyone. As the Board for this great organization, we’ve spent countless hours planning and coordinating but without all of you, it would all be for naught. So, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! We’ll see you again next year when we’ll do it all again!

1000 Islands, Clayton New York
With the support of dedicated volunteers, the 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run’s mission is threefold:
Provide an exciting event with spectacular boats in a safe family-friendly environment.
The 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run is extremely proud to bring people from around the US and Canada to Clayton, NY and the Thousand Islands region. “The Fresh Water Boating Capital of the World.”
The 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run is a grassroots volunteer-driven event, dedicated to the charitable needs and economic development of the Thousand Islands Region. The goal of the 1000 Islands International Charity Poker Run is to host events that promote the local river communities and preserve the historic integrity of the Thousand Islands.
Our objective is to raise money through Corporate Sponsors, silent auction items, t-shirt sales and Boater entry fees.
The 1000 Islands Charity Poker Run is intended to be a safe family-friendly event. There will be many things to experience, both on and off the water. Expect more ‘slow zones’, allowing for participants and spectators alike to have a clear view of the boats at a safe distance.
100% of all donations and proceeds will be going to charity.
Our Primary Benefactors
“Together, we create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.” This is our mission. It’s what we strive for and ultimately what we do – every single day. A wish carries Hope and Joy. It has the power to make a child feel stronger, more in control and determined to fight through the medical journey ahead. Many families and healthcare providers believe the wish experience is the turning point in a wish kid’s battle against their illness. Your gift can help Make-A-Wish Central New York grant the wish of every eligible child. Nearly 200 kids are waiting. Some simply can’t… Please, help us transform lives, one wish at a time. River Community Wellness Program at River Hospital provides Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) treatment to America’s heroes, past and present. Active Duty military members diagnosed with PTSD are treated in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Veterans diagnosed with PTSD are provided services in an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). Both the PHP and IOP are group focused programs drawing on the strength created when a group of like-minded individuals join together in the healing process. The program keeps our military members and Veterans close to home while they are healing and learning to cope.
